Welcome to Your World of Magic!Introducing an app that turns your smartphone into a magic wand that responds to your voice commands. Just say a spell, and your wand triggers a short video and sound linked to that enchantment. And of course, there are spells to turn your flashlight on and off!
You probably want to try it out as soon as possible, right? Caught you! No problem, here is a quick summary to try your magic in action without reading a long manual, which you can return to at any time. As soon as you say the password correctly, the entrance will unlock, and you will enter the app and find yourself in the Hall. You will see buttons at the top. On the left is the toggle for Casting Mode—this is exactly where you will be casting your spells. But first, go to Settings (the gear icon in the top right corner) to at least check out which spells you already have at your disposal. As soon as you memorize the spells and learn how to pronounce them correctly (if you didn't know how before), you can immediately switch to Casting Mode and see how it works. If you want more, please read the manual further, because magic is a pretty tricky thing! ;-)
And now, let’s move on to how your magic works.When you first open the app, you accept the terms of the user agreement and land on the instructions page. It explains how to enter your world of magic, namely: you need to say the password correctly in English. Once you confirm you have read these instructions and grant the app permission to use the microphone, a wall will appear before you. Here, I must tell you about the main feature of our app—complete customization of almost everything in it. Moving on: the wall in front of you is a short video where a wall stands before you at first, and then it crumbles, placing you into the world of your magic. It is truly yours, because how it looks and sounds is limited only by your imagination. You can create any pictures, videos, and even audio using AI generators, for example, or in any other way, and insert them into the app with customization unlocked. If you want, you can purchase ready-made videos by previewing and choosing the ones you like in the Telegram channel. There is also a link to Pixabay, a website with free content. After purchasing and tapping the download button, the video will download directly into the correct folder. From the website, files will end up in the "Download" folder as usual, and you will need to move them to the "MyMagicMedia" folder—this applies to all mp.4 and mp.3 files used by the app.
So, as an example of how the app login is designed: a short video of 5 to 10 seconds has been created and split into two parts. The first part is before the wall begins to crumble, and the second part is, naturally, everything else. The first part loops continuously in the video player until you say the correct password or use the backdoor. Then, consequently, the second part of the video starts. In the login settings, when you change it, that is exactly how it is marked—video one and video two. You will be able to either insert a video with overlaid audio, or without audio and then connect any audio file right there, or mute the overlaid audio and connect any audio file. Well, I think you will figure it out there; the settings for displaying how spells work—meaning video and audio—are pretty much the same, except you don't need to cut anything there.
The Hall has its own video and audio logic: they loop continuously there, so to prevent any lagging, if you want to set the video and audio separately, they must be of the same duration. The files should be kept short—this guarantees the correct operation of the app during media playback. For spells, 3-5 second clips are quite enough.
The heart of our app is the Vosk neural network—it handles the recognition of your spells, which you can also change. However, there is a fly in the ointment here: for spells, you can only use words that exist in the dictionary of your chosen language. Yes, you can change the spell language too, and once you download the voice model for your chosen language, it will stay in the app, allowing you to switch it to English and back at any time without the internet. This is another feature of our app—you do not need an internet connection to use it, except for downloading the interface translation or a language model, and that's it. Though, I should also mention that the English language model works best (but that’s not certain ;-)). One more thing: if you suddenly want to change your chosen spell language, just tap the icon of the current language, and a menu will open.
To change the spells themselves, you need to type them in the corresponding lines in the settings with correct grammar. I think you can guess that if you write a spell or a password in a language different from the one you chose for Vosk, neither the spells nor the password will work upon login. However, if you suddenly forget to change the password after changing the spell language (or if you just forget it entirely ;-)), there is a backdoor for this situation. To use it, just tap the cracked door icon.
You will also see "Debug Mode" in the settings. What is it and how do you use it? In this mode, you will see exactly what Vosk hears from you, and you will also see colored indicator circles to show when a spell triggers. We used this mode during development and decided it might be useful for you; if you don't need it, simply turn it off.
You will also see an option called "Magic Mode Timeout" in the settings. This is an auto-turn-off setting for Spell-Casting Mode. We care about saving your battery life, so we implemented a sleep mode for the app. If, for some reason, you leave your phone unattended while on the login screen, the app will enter sleep mode after one minute of inactivity so that Vosk and the microphone don't drain your battery for nothing. Once your phone's system timer expires, the device will lock or enter standby mode as usual. In Casting Mode, an auto-exit feature is implemented; by default, it triggers after 3 minutes of inactivity, but this time can be increased. And you might ask: "Why would I need that?".
Well, imagine you want to use the flashlight in our app. For the flashlight itself, a fixed runtime of 3 minutes is configured in Casting Mode. Once this time is up, it will turn off automatically, which is actually quite convenient since I have often caught myself forgetting to turn it off. However, if you need the flashlight for more than 3 minutes, you will have to enter Casting Mode again to turn it back on. But if you increase the mode's exit timeout, you will remain in it, and to turn the flashlight back on, you will only need to say the spell again—giving you the power to decide when the auto-exit should trigger. Of course, if you don't need to use the flashlight, it is better to keep the auto-exit set to 3 minutes as it is by default, just to be safe. But that is just my opinion, and you can decide for yourself, because after all, this is your magic.
And now for some less pleasant news: by default, the application allows you to change the password, interface language, and screen zoom step independently for each magic spell, the Settings Hall, and the Entry Page — use this as needed, I think many will find it useful ;-). However, this customization is available only by viewing advertisements. Unfortunately, due to the reluctance of the application store(s) to work with Georgia, where I am currently located, and due to some administrative bureaucracy, we were unable to set up direct in-app purchases, though we might succeed in doing so in the future. By viewing advertisements, you will earn energy points that can be used either to unlock custom settings (20 points for each item) or to download new videos from our in-app multimedia store (10 points). Videos in the store will be continuously added and updated over time.

And here are a few more points: originally, spells consist of a couple of words or a single long word, as is the case with the light-on spell. This is necessary to eliminate or at least minimize false triggers, so I recommend doing the same when you change the spells to your own. But again, that is up to you—you will see for yourself how it goes. Also, another thing: if you set your own video with overlaid audio, you must turn off the default sound for that audio to play; there are buttons right next to it for this purpose. There is no sound on the login lock screen, only video. And one more thing: there are 2 operating modes for the flashlight, but this works on Android 13+ and not on all phones; on budget devices, this feature will most likely be unavailable. Furthermore, if your device has weak hardware, it might not run the neural network smoothly, and there is nothing we can do about that. However, we will keep working on our app to improve it. In fact, we already have some ideas on what to add next, so we have thoughts for at least a couple of updates. I won't reveal them yet—let it be a surprise instead! ;-)
